Mentoring women in STEM

A wonderful wrap up for my #girlsinstem program "Girls Solve Problems", a celebration of #iwd2021 and of the Strength of Australia-India connections - esp in #education.

A month long program, 20 hrs of #STEM workshops, with sessions being kicked off by some great #womeninstem . Deep thanks to @Sowmyakrishna, Pei Qin (Sabrina) Ng, @CharlotteBirkmanis, Ritu David for your great encouragement of the girls, and sharing such great examples of the diverse pathways into #STEM. We ran interactive provocations, and investigations into so many topics, from #Space, #DNA, #DINOSAURS, #GPS, #SHARKS,#sustainablefood, #cybersecurity , #encryption and #problemsolving ALL THE WAY through. The Feedback from the young women and their #teachers confirms that #learning can be challenging and engaging. Wonderful to have the support of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the Consulate in #Mumbai to further the great links between #Australia and #India esp in the area of #Education.
